“She has a unique ability to help raise the self-esteem of kids and shine light wherever she goes.”
"Kathryn taught yoga and mindfulness skills to grades 4-8 over a series of sessions. With her calm voice and accepting nature, she connected strongly with every student even when teaching in a larger group. Overall, the students reported lower levels of anxiety, feeling calm and at ease. Many children had never experienced these kinds of positive feelings until meeting Kathryn. She has a unique ability to help raise the self-esteem of kids and shine light wherever she goes."

“Kathryn led both in-person and virtual cohorts on an introspective journey to connect with their emotions and understand their body’s response in moments of conflict and crisis …”
Kathryn led mindfulness meditation and yoga sessions in the Masters in Leadership course I was teaching at the University of Guelph. With her warm, inviting, and compassionate approach, Kathryn led both in-person and virtual cohorts on an introspective journey to connect with their emotions and understand their body’s response in moments of conflict and crisis, as well as skills to help them through these moments. The consensus from the participants was that they were much calmer, and were surprised at how much control they could have over their own stress responses. Some experienced a calm mind for the first time in their lives. Kathryn was an essential part of the success of this leadership course.
